Gal Dornay Band
This is my personal project, born at the end of my studies at the University of Music in Nürnberg.

With the help of two of my closest friends from that time - Luca Drexel on bass and Fabian Schreiner on drums - I started the Gal Dornay Band.
​
We play a wide range of jazz standards and bossa nova pieces, always reaching for that warm, traditional sound inspired by legends like Wes Montgomery and Joe Pass.
​
Our music moves between lyrical melodies, deep grooves, and open improvisations, creating space for each instrument to shine while keeping the focus on swing and flow.
​
For us, it’s about bringing the joy and intimacy of classic jazz into every performance, while letting the music breathe and surprise us in the moment.​
Simona&Gal
Me and Simona Hellwig met during our time in university. We had a great personal and artistic connection from the get go and started playing together right away. After a few years of polishing our skills as individuals and as a duo, we started offering our services as musicians for events, weddings, birthdays, concerts and everything in between, with great success.
​
Our repertoire consists of Jazz, Bossa-Nova, Pop, Soul and original songs.

DuoGaLuca
The DuoGaLuca Project was born during my studies at the University of Music in Nürnberg.
​
Back then, my friend Luca Drexel and I would meet every week to practice, exchange ideas, or simply jam together.​
​
Since then, we’ve continued to grow as a guitar duo, performing at a variety of venues and events—from cozy local pubs to museum jazz nights, as well as private celebrations like birthdays and special gatherings.
What makes this project unique is the musical dialogue between our guitars: sometimes one voice leads while the other answers, other times we move together in harmony, creating textures that are rich, intimate, and unpredictable. Every performance feels like an open conversation—two instruments speaking the same language, discovering new stories with every note.
